To promote the Bicycle Bash Classic the last three years, SWFBUD Director Alan
Snel literally took to the road with the famous "Bash-Board" -- a billboard sign
built on a trailer that was hauled by Snel around the Tampa Bay area.

The Bash-Board even made FOX-13 News, when Charlie Belcher did a "Charlie's
World" feature on Snel and the Bash-Board.

It was tremednous guerilla marketing. The Bash-Board drew a ton of attention and
Snel handed out flyers and free items, talking to hundreds of bicyclists and enthusiasts
around the area.

People enjoyed posing with the Bash-Board and some drivers even stopped to take
photos. Of course, Snel did what any bicyclist pulling a Bash-Board would do under
those circumstances -- he suggested the driver swap his vehicle for a bicycle and
attend the Bicycle Bash by the Bay.
